nancy culmone

Nancy Culmone has been doing art work all her life with crayons, inks, paints, pens, wax and paste. She has enjoyed lettering since the age of eleven. She focused on calligraphy after art school and has been teaching it as a language of creative expression at museums, colleges, workshops and calligraphy conferences. She feels privileged that through teaching she is able to encourage the innate artist within each of us and share her interests and discoveries with others.

Nancy¹s work is widely published and exhibited. She creates one-of-a-kind manuscript books which are in private and public collections, including those of Harvard and Duke Universities, Wellesley College and the University of Utah.
