award winning weaver, coral clark, has been written up in
women's wear daily, The
santa fean magazine and numerous national newspapers. Her most recent awards were
best garment, best hat and grand champion alternate at the 2003 taos wool festival.
she has also specialized in decorative painting, fresco and custom painted old world
fabrics. her studio, cupobi design, markets her hand-woven garments, home furnishings
and hand spun yarns.
coral lives at refugio verde in the pecos river valley where she has created a small
paradise with her extensive gardens, including a dyer's garden for coloring the yarn for
her unique fabrics.
coral is this year's tour treasurer and
a past tour president.
